Keep API keys and account access safe.
- Store API keys in environment variables or local secret storage.
- Rotate keys that may have been exposed.
- Do not run untrusted scripts with your API key in the environment.
- Do not paste complete keys into public chats, issue trackers or screenshots.
- Use separate keys for different projects when possible.
